Teas of Japan Sampler

Sale Price:$18.00 Original Price:$20.00
Sold Out

The Teas of Japan Sampler includes a selection of five teas from the KH Daily and Reserve collections. These teas range from gentle sweet pea flavors to robust toasty aromas, giving a taste of some of Japan’s most popular teas:

Dattan Sobacha- Made from Dattan buckwheat, this caffeine-free tisane has a toasty-sweet flavor and 100 times more rutin than standard soba, making it a healthy daily tea. Origin: Hokkaido, Japan

Hojicha- A fragrant, toasty Japanese green tea made from high-quality kukicha, with a smooth, mellow flavor and low caffeine—perfect for any time of day. Origin: Shizuoka, Japan

Homare Sencha- Not your everyday sencha, this fukamushi-style tea undergoes a high temperature roast with leaves carefully selected for their uniform size and color, ensuring an even infusion with a rich, brothy flavor. Origin: Shizuoka, Japan

Kukicha- Made from stems separated during the sencha-making process, “twig tea” is high in L-Theanine and low in caffeine, making it a soothing, lightly floral all-day tea. Origin: Shizuoka, Japan

Shizuku Gyokuro- This gyokuro is shaded using the traditional tana cover method (bamboo and straw) for at least 16 days during its growth, resulting in a sweeter, less astringent tea. Origin: Fukuoka, Japan
